Just a Few Days Away Now

I am not sure about you but with fishing season just a few days away I am getting very excited. I am not sure how soon I will get out but hopefully it will be fairly early as we have had a nice few weeks and pretty well all the snow is gone.

Again this year, I hope to keep this site updated every time I go fishing. I know it does not generate a lot of traffic but I have received some positive feedback which makes it worthwhile.

  3. Hi James,

I found your blog while looking for places near Riverview to take my daughters fishing where they can safely fish from shore and have a good chance of hooking some fish (as well as getting hooked on fishing themselves). I live in Riverview (moved here 2 yrs ago) and have a passion for fishing and I want to share that with my girls. Great site and I really like the pics. I noticed on one of your previous posts that you had found a spot that might fit the bill where there are some bass. I understand if you don't want to share the location but my daughters, wife and I would be really appreciative if you could. My email address is r_brown94 AT hotmail.com Please let me know what you think.

    Thanks,
    Richard

  5. Hey Richard,
Thanks for posting. I am just running out now but will email you soon.

Manny, I am not sure when I will be going to Chipman. There is a teacher I work with that is going to visit her family there on Sunday and she is going to check the water level for me on Sunday.

  6. The count down is on Jamie and I am excited. Way too excited, I'm not sleeping well. :)

I have a couple of spots to take you to on our first trip out. I am sure the pickerel are already sitting there waiting for us.

Did you get lots of great plastic baits, cause you'll need them all on the first day out.

  7. Heard the water is half way up the colverts so it is quite high but hopefully it will drop fairly quickly. Perhaps those smaller spots you mentioned will be good early. Will have to see when I can get out. Also have to see if I can attach the canoe to the new car :)
